About Greenspeak

Greenspeak is my brainchild. I'm BJ Novack, a web developer, gardener, political activist, mad recycler, and GreenSpeaker. For years I've  been decrying the mentality of "keep up with the Joneses", "planned obsolescence", and "he who dies with the most toys wins" and preaching a simpler, less stressful, less material lifestyle that gives back to the earth as much as it takes out. That can be hard to do in this mass-marketed age, but is very rewarding, and very necessary if the world is to continue long enough for our children's children to enjoy it.

The site is my design. The Tree of Life motif in the corner is inspired by a piece of Pennsylvania Dutch Folk Art, and symbolizes our caretaker status on this earth.
